After studying Architecture at the University of Kansas, Clemente realized that he would not be satisfied merely drawing the plans. Desiring more physical control over the building process, he started David Clemente Construction in 1981. For Clemente, details really do make the difference. Well thought out livable floor plans, handsome exterior elevations, and custom interior moldings and trim are all integral parts of the process, but for Clemente, the process has an even earlier beginning - the neighborhood. David Clemente, as a developer, has created three distinctive neighborhoods: The Heritage at Alvamar, Longleaf Town homes and Westwood Hills, in Lawrence, Kansas.
